Coeur d’Alene Press Offices
The Coeur d’Alene Press remains a cornerstone of local news, but because the press relocated their printing capabilities from their office building to another facility, they were left with an empty, dated warehouse. The press wanted to convert their once dated and compact downtown production facility into contemporary office spaces for their newspaper staff. With 10,000 square feet to transform, LTA converted the space into offices for the business department, editorial, advertising, and circulation staff. We also added a new 3,000 square foot glass entrance and lobby, and converted much of the former printing area into the offices, meeting rooms, breakroom, and storage room. Bi-level ceilings were used in the offices and meeting rooms to define work zones while improving circulation. All new energy efficient HVAC equipment and plumbing fixtures were also installed to accommodate the increased amount of people working in the building.
